Duncan Place Staff and our Visitors with Accessibility Needs

We welcome our visitors with accessibility needs and are always looking to improve this where possible. We are always happy to consider any reasonable adjustments. Everyone’s needs are individual to them and we have a duty to make sure all attendees and our own staff team are kept safe.

If you require walking sticks, a walker, a wheelchair, any other mobility aid, or a carer to be able to:

  • arrive safely to Duncan Place,
  • move around safely whilst in Duncan Place, including the grounds outside,
  • to leave and get home safely from Duncan Place,

then please bring the mobility aids you require with you. Duncan Place does not have any mobility aids to borrow.

If you require support to attend Duncan Place, please ensure you have organised this with an appropriate carer in advance. Please click to read our Carers Policy.

The staff team at Duncan Place are not trained in the manual handling of people. To avoid injury to you and themselves, they cannot provide physical support to get you in and out, or whilst inside Duncan Place.

We thank you for your cooperation and always welcome feedback and comments to help us keep learning and improving.
